# Computation of a possible Tunguska's strewn field

Albino Carbognani, Mario Di Martino, Giovanna Stirpe, 2024. _Icarus 408, 115845_.

Models ablation, pancake flattening, airburst and dark flight to ask whether stony fragments could have reached the ground, calibrated on the 2013 Chelyabinsk fall. Its introduction and Section 4 summarise the event parameters from the literature: 30 June 1908 at 00:14:28 UT, a 50–80 m body, burst about 8.5 km up, energy 10–40 Mt (most probably about 15 Mt), 2,150 ± 50 km² of forest flattened, epicentre 60.886° N 101.894° E from the tree-fall data, trajectory azimuth about 110° ± 10°. Finds a possible strewn field about 11 km north-west of the epicentre over about 140 km², with Lake Cheko about 3.5 km outside it.
