# The decline of Late Bronze Age civilization as a possible response to climatic change

B. Weiss, 1982. _Climatic Change 4(2), 173–198_.

Proposes that drought drove Luwian peoples out of western Anatolia early in the 12th century BC and that they were among the Sea Peoples, and tests whether such a drought pattern is physically possible using Palmer drought indices from 35 weather stations in 1951–1976.
