# Critical comments on the find complex of the so-called Nebra Sky Disk

Rupert Gebhard, Rüdiger Krause, 2020. _Archäologische Informationen 43, 325–346_.

The challenge to the received date. Argues from the looters' divergent accounts, soil adhesions, corrosion and damage, and metal composition that the disc may not belong to the hoard or even to the Mittelberg, and that on stylistic grounds it is more likely Iron Age.
