Roger Patterson, 1967. _Wikimedia Commons (a digitised copy, via the Internet Archive)_.

The film itself, about 954 frames shot hand-held on a Kodak K-100, showing a large, dark, upright figure walking away across a creek bar and turning to look at the camera. The camera original has been missing since 1980; every copy descends from prints made before then.
