# Analysis Integrity of the Patterson-Gimlin Film Image

Bill Munns, Jeff Meldrum, 2013. _The Relict Hominoid Inquiry 2: 41–80_.

A film-technical study by a creature-effects designer and an Idaho State University anatomist. Traces the camera original (held by American National Enterprises, passed on in a bankruptcy sale, checked out of storage by Rene Dahinden in 1980 and missing since) and the groups of copies made from it; counts 954 frames, about 400 sharp; identifies the camera as a Kodak K-100 on Kodachrome II; argues for a filming speed of 16 to 18 frames per second; and concludes that the film was not spliced or altered and is sharp enough for analysis.
