# Could the 'Wow' signal have originated from a stochastic repeating beacon?

David Kipping, Robert Gray, 2022. _Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society_.

A likelihood analysis of the Big Ear logs and 192 hours of later observations (META, Hobart, ATA) under the hypothesis of a randomly repeating source: compatible with the Big Ear data, in 2.4-sigma tension with the follow-ups, and needing about 62 more days of observation to exclude at 3 sigma. MNRAS 515, 1122–1129.
