# The Operational Search for MH370

Australian Transport Safety Bureau, 2017. _ATSB Transport Safety Report AE-2014-054_.

The final report of the Australian-led underwater search, published 3 October 2017: the search method and coverage, the analysis of the final handshakes and end-of-flight scenarios, the debris, the drift studies, and the conclusion that the aircraft is not in the 120,000 km² searched and most likely lies in an unsearched area of about 25,000 km² to the north.
