# Kinematics of the Interstellar Vagabond 1I/'Oumuamua (A/2017 U1)

Eric Mamajek, 2017. _Research Notes of the AAS_.

Shows that the object's incoming velocity was within a few kilometres per second of the local standard of rest, which is unusual for a nearby star and argues against ejection from any of the nearest stellar systems. RNAAS 1, 21.
