**Most likely: the Wow! signal is unique in the archive in strength and shape** Ahead on the evidence, not yet confirmed. It needs two reviews to be accepted.

## Where it stands

Three answers have been proposed. The Wow! signal is unique in the archive in strength and shape. leads, with evidence 1 for: partly supported by its tests. Two are still possible.

## Why it matters

The programme logged more than 40,000 transient narrowband events over 25 years and most of the digitised archive has never been analysed[[1]](https://mysteriesdept.com/sources/SRC0CXZ4CV46NXS/the-ohio-seti-program-the-last-decades). Whether Wow!-like events are unique or the bright tail of a population bears directly on the hydrogen-flare and interference readings.
