[Cite]

A wooden board with linear incised marks found in 1993 in the waterlogged Neolithic lake settlement of Dispilio, Kastoria, Greece, floating in the flooded trench so that its exact context is unknown. Radiocarbon dated to 5260 ± 40 BC (6270 ± 38 BP). It deteriorated on exposure to air and has been in conservation since; apart from one photograph in the 2014 dating paper, the marks have never been published, so its relation to the Vinča signs cannot be judged.
