Tens of thousands of tablets and fragments from the libraries of Nineveh (Kuyunjik), excavated between 1849 and the 1930s and the core of first-millennium Akkadian literature and scholarship. Most are broken, and the eBL Fragmentarium's photography and matching campaign since 2018 is directed chiefly at joining them; the 2024 Maqlû test found three unidentified manuscripts among them (K.18050, Sm.1215, Sm.1852).
