ObjectC. 550 BC

[Cite]

A funerary stele of about 550 BC found in 1885 built into a church at Kaminia on Lemnos, carved with a warrior's bust and 33 words in a Greek-derived alphabet in a language closely related to Etruscan. With the second Lemnian text found at Hephaistia in 2009 it is the main evidence for the Tyrsenian family and for the Aegean side of the Etruscan origin debate.
