Two are still possible. ## Why it matters Brown and Duhoux accepted the Psychro stone as Eteocretan, but Kritzas argued in 2006 that it is a modern forgery, and the Supplementum Epigraphicum Graecum records it as such⁠[[1]](https://mysteriesdept.com/sources/SRC0DEDQDHXMPQJ/the-eteocretan-inscription-from-psychro)⁠[[2]](https://mysteriesdept.com/sources/SRC0DEDQE1AS4YK/the-bilingual-inscription-from-psychro-crete-a-coup-de-grace).
