# Where did he come down?

**Most likely: he landed near Ariel and Lake Merwin, where the FBI's flight-path map and the 8:13 pm pressure bump put the…** Ahead on the evidence, not yet confirmed. It needs two reviews to be accepted.

## Where it stands

Four answers have been proposed. He landed near Ariel and Lake Merwin, where the FBI's flight-path map and the 8:13 pm pressure bump put the… leads, with evidence 2 for, 2 against: partly supported by its tests. Three are still possible.

## Why it matters

The landing zone fixes where any remains or equipment lie and whether the Tena Bar money could have travelled by water. It depends on the flight path, the jump time and the winds, all of which are reconstructed rather than recorded[[1]](https://mysteriesdept.com/sources/SRC0D6SWSNM0Z6T/flight-path-analysis)[[2]](https://mysteriesdept.com/sources/SRC0D6SWTD27KK7/washougal-washdown-theory).

Failed a test; not refuted outright

Evidence: 1 for, 1 against

Disputed

Not tested enough to call either way

Evidence: 1 for

Still possible
