# Keep it free

I started Mysteries Department because the research on these mysteries is scattered, hard to check, and often repeats work that already failed. Everything here is free to read and reuse, and I'd like to keep it that way.

The site has no ads and no paywall. Donations pay the running costs, so more of my time goes into the research rather than the bills.
