# Ancient genomes from the Pueblo Bonito Room 33 burials (Kennett et al. 2017)

Mitochondrial genomes of nine individuals and nuclear data from six, as aligned reads and consensus sequences. These are the remains of ancestors of living Pueblo peoples; any reanalysis should be undertaken only with the consent of descendant communities, given the published objections (Claw et al. 2017). The Picuris genomes of 2025 are held under tribal control and are not open.
